"It's hard to give away a match without it being noticeable." Bandura on the end of cooperation with Minaj

Oleksandr Bandura, the former goalkeeper of Minaj, told us why the Transcarpathian club decided to terminate cooperation with the experienced footballer.

Oleksandr Bandura

- Sasha, this is the second time in six months that you've left Minaj, why is that?

- The sporting director informed me that they were going to rely on young players, so we decided to terminate my contract.

- Didn't they offer you to stay in the structure of Minaj?

- Everyone is running away from that club. There is no position for me at the club.

- The team's recent results are not encouraging. What can help improve the situation?

- The youngsters need to be more aggressive, because in the first league they need to fight harder and not give up.

- Is the information about the players being tested for the game against Niva true? Did something like that happen at Minaj?

- In football, the one who makes fewer mistakes wins. In my two years at the club, I can say for sure that this did not happen. From my experience, it's very difficult to give up a match without it being noticed.

- What's next for you? Do you still want to play football?

- I don't know yet. I would like to play some more. If there is no such opportunity, then we will think about something.

- Do you plan to stay in Uzhhorod?

- No, I don't. I want to be closer to my family in Sumy. You worry a lot about your loved ones at a long distance.
