Ukrainian coach Yuriy Maksymov turned down two offers from Azerbaijani clubs on favorable financial terms.
In the summer, the specialist was also shortlisted for the position of head coach of the Azerbaijani national team. However, Maksymov refused all offers: the coach does not want to leave Ukraine and is waiting for offers from local clubs.
We will remind, the last place of work of the specialist was Dnipro-1, where Maksymov worked since September 2023. Under his leadership, the team finished the 2023/2024 season in fourth place in the UPL.
