This weekend are the matches of the 6th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season 2024/25. In one of them on Saturday, September 14, Luhansk Zorya and Dynamo Kyiv met. The match was held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy, which is announced by the Luhansk team as the base stadium for the season.

"With the starting whistle Dynamo tried to transfer the game to Zorya's half of the pitch, but the Luhansk players responded with quite active and sometimes high pressing. Therefore, the first scoring chance had to wait. It came in the 17th minute of the game, when after a corner kick at Zorya's goal the ball bounced outside the penalty area Tymchik, he delivered a pass to the far post to Yarmolenko, who shot from the goalkeeper's area, but missed the target. A few minutes later, Vivcharenko scored with a dangerous long-range shot - the ball flew near the bar. There was also a shot by Tymchyk from the right side of the penalty area - also inaccurate.

"Zorya" responded to all this with a sharp counterattack in the 33rd minute of the match, which ended with Antyukh's shot from the left side of Dynamo penalty area - exactly on target, but Buschan saved his team.

However, the most dangerous moment of the first moment occurred on the 37th minute of the match: Yarmolenko made a technical strike from the right flank and the ball hit the far post. Vivcharenko played on the rebound, but he failed to hit the goal from an advantageous position. As a result, the teams went into the break with zeros on the scoreboard.

The beginning of the second half could turn into big trouble for Zorya. First, Dryshlyuk cut the ball almost into his own net - it hit the crossbar. And right after that, Vanat unhindered shot from 8 meters, but this shot was blocked by Jordan.

However, in the 67th minute of the match the goal still took place: Vivcharenko broke into the penalty area of "Zorya" from the left flank, almost from the front line made a cross to the 11-meter mark, where Bujalskyi, free from guardianship, confidently sent the ball into the net - 0:1.

Having taken the lead, Dynamo played more relaxed, and in the 78th minute of the game developed their success: Bragaru, having received a pass on the left flank, took the game on himself, shot from outside the penalty area and the ball after a small ricochet flew into the far corner of the gate "Zorya" - 0:2.

It seemed that the game was over, but "Zorya" did not think to give up, and in the 85th minute of the game almost narrowed the gap in the score: the counterattack of the Luhansk side ended with a flank pass from Junior, as a result of which Ndur found himself in the penalty area one-on-one with Buschan, shot at the gates of Kyiv from close range, but the goalkeeper "white-blue" saved his team. Well, neither Dynamo nor Zorya achieved more in this match - the victory of Shovkovskiy's team, 2:0.

Dynamo will play their next match next Wednesday, September 18, against Poltava Vorskla. It is a postponed match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian championship. It will take place in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy (kick-off - at 18:00).
