At the same time, in the history of the Champions League until yesterday, only two matches had scored more than 10 goals. The record was set in a match between Borussia Dortmund and Polish Legia in 2016 (12 goals, 8:4), and in 2003 in a match between French Monaco and Spanish Deportivo, 11 goals were scored (8:3).
