On Wednesday, September 18, Dynamo Kyiv and Poltava Vorskla met in the rescheduled match of the 4th round of the Ukrainian championship season-2024/25. The match took place in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy.

"Dynamo" from the starting whistle indicated its desire to play an attacking game at a fast pace, but it was "Vorskla" that created the first goal moment in this match: on the 5th minute Krupsky finished the counterattack of his team with a pass from the right flank into the penalty area of Kyiv, there Kane won the fight in the air, struck a header from about 11-meter mark, and the ball almost hit the far post of "Dynamo" goal.
Closer to the 15th minute Vorskla fully mastered and almost leveled the game. But it was in this period of the game that Dynamo created their first goal moment - it was Bragaru, having received a pass on the right flank, took the game on himself and shot from the line of the Poltava penalty area - this time the ball flew within centimeters from the bar of the guests' goal. Then Shaparenko also struck - in this case there was a ricochet, and Isenko had to work hard to throw the ball away.
And on the 33rd minute of the match Dynamo opened the score: Shaparenko took a corner kick from the left flank, Seballos won the fight in the air at the near post, struck a header from the goalkeeper's line and the ball flew into the gate of Vorskla - 1:0. Not two minutes later, as Dynamo players developed their success: after Shaparenko's shot again there was a ricochet, the ball bounced right to Karavaev and he hit the target from an acute angle - 2:0.
To the credit of "Vorskla", it did not lose heart after conceding two goals in a row, and continued to look for options in attack. The ball was in the Dynamo penalty area more than once, once, after a free kick, Buschan had to come into the game, but the Poltava team could not achieve more in the remaining time of the first half.
At the very beginning of the second half Dynamo were close to making the third goal: Shaparenko, having received a pass from Kabaev, with a spectacular heel pass extended the combination into the penalty area of "Vorskla" to Rubchinskiy, who as a result found himself for a moment one-on-one with Isenko, struck on goal, but the Poltava goalkeeper managed to kick the ball away.
In general, Dynamo had full advantage in the opening of the second half, but Vorskla withstood this onslaught of the opponent and closer to the 60th minute managed not only to push the Bilo-Syni away from their gates, but also to establish the game in attack. However, it did not lead to the sharpness at Buschan's goal, but Kyivians recorded two dangerous shots. First, Kabaev shot from distance - just over the goal, and then Bragaru almost beat Isenko, shooting from the right side of the Vorskla penalty area.
The guests tried to change the score till the last, spent a lot of time on Dynamo's half of the pitch, and on the 81st minute they finally achieved their goal: Vorskla's attack ended with a diagonal cross from the right flank, which was finished by Ihede on the far post - 2:1. Of course, in the remaining time of the match the Poltava team tried their best to avoid defeat, but in the end they got a goal into their own net: in the first minute of the second half Isenko went outside the penalty area, played directly to Pihalenok and the latter sent the ball into the empty net - 3:1.
Dynamo will play their next match next Saturday, September 21, when they will host Lviv Rukh within the 7th round of the Ukrainian Championship. The match will be held in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy (kick-off - at 18:00).
