Some details of the detention of the famous Ukrainian boxer and footballer of Zhytomyr "Polesya" Oleksandr Usik, who was arrested yesterday at the airport in Krakow, have become known.
According to ESPN TV channel, Usik and his coach Sergey Lapin were denied boarding the flight after the airline representative decided that they were in "unsuitable condition for the flight".
In turn, Usik tried to explain that they were exhausted after a nearly 14-hour trip from Kiev, but due to the language barrier and the boxer's categorical stance - both were delayed.
