Andriy Tlumak: "In Bologna, the best goalkeepers were the goalkeepers"

Former Karpaty and Zorya goalkeeper Andriy Tlumak assessed the goalkeepers' performance in the first match of the UEFA Champions League group stage between Bologna and Shakhtar, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

- They were the best on the field. Undoubtedly, it was Bologna's goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski who made the difference, saving a penalty kick from Georgiy Sudakov in his debut. Given that the Miners did not seriously threaten his possession in the future, the goalkeeper's class is that he played flawlessly at a key moment.

Then his colleague, Dmytro Riznyk, picked up the baton from Skorupskyi. I think it was perhaps his best match on the international stage. I still remember the Shakhtar's save at the beginning of the second half, when he repelled Fabian's powerful shot. Dmytro was also memorable in the game with his feet, starting his team's attacks. That's why the fact that the opponents kept their possession at the "lock" is a great merit of their keepers. By the way, such a result is acceptable for both teams," Tlumak is sure.
