English midfielder Conor Gallagher has spoken about his move to Atletico from Chelsea.
"Before I returned to London due to complications in the negotiations between Atletico and Chelsea, I met with Cholo Simeone. He told me: "We will definitely sign a contract with you, all you have to do is be ready when you return to Madrid".
Looking back on my time at Chelsea, I am very proud. But it's time to move on. "Atletico is the perfect club to start the next chapter of my career. I am very lucky to be here," The Athletic quoted Gallagher as saying.
