"Dynamo is a very strong opponent now" - Rukh defender

Rukh Lviv defender Roman Didyk told us what he thinks about his team's match with Dynamo Kyiv in the 7th round of the Ukrainian championship, which will take place tomorrow in the capital.

Roman Didyk

"The game with Vorskla (0:0, round 6 of the Ukrainian championship - ed. note) was unsuccessful for us. Of course, it's a shame to play in the majority for 60 minutes and not realize this advantage. The field there was not in the best condition, but this cannot be an excuse for our team. Because of the sand in Poltava, my legs were a little stiff after the game, but then every day it was easier and easier to train and now we have recovered. It's a pity that Rukh failed to bring three points to Lviv. However, the team has already analyzed this match and is moving on.

Now we are all preparing for Dynamo in a good mood. This is a very strong opponent. The coaching staff will tell us the plan for the game. We have already started to gradually analyze the game of Kyiv. I think they have more strengths than weaknesses, but I don't want to specify it before the game.

"Rukh could have started the league even better. However, we are at the top of the table and will do everything in our power to fight for the top places. Moreover, Marko Sapuga, Yuriy Klymchuk, and Freddie Pluman joined us. They had been out for a long time due to injuries, so everyone in the team was happy when they started training again in the general group. These are important people both on the field and in the locker room, so the whole team is happy that the guys are back in the lineup," Didyk said.
