Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinowski of Italian side Genoa suffered a serious injury in the Italian league match against Venice (0:2).

In the 50th minute of the game, the 31-year-old footballer made an unsuccessful dribble and, catching his foot on the turf, twisted his leg badly. According to preliminary estimates, the Ukrainian has either a serious injury to the ankle ligaments or even a fracture of the tibia. In any case, Ruslan is likely to be out until the end of the year.
