Vladyslav Kabaev: "The final stage is limping a bit..."

- Of course, it's unpleasant after the game - and that's putting it mildly. These are emotions, but I wouldn't say they are negative. We will need to analyze it. We've played a lot of matches, and I can't say that we're tired, because it's better to play than to train.

I believe that Rukh has a very good team, they proved it at the beginning of the championship and in today's match. They run a lot, but not mindlessly, and this is a big plus, it is very interesting to play with such teams. I respect them, but we have a lot of work to do and will be stronger.

- What did you lack? Something in terms of the fight or in the final phase?

- There was enough fight on our part and on theirs. In my opinion, if the fans watch the game, they will not be able to blame us for the lack of desire. We were going into the clashes, our legs were all beaten up, but the one who scores goals in the opponents' goal wins in football. We had enough chances, and they had enough. I cannot say that there were many opportunities, but there were many prerequisites for goals.

We just needed to manage our chances better - sometimes the goalkeeper played well, sometimes we were lucky, sometimes they were. I think the final stage is a little bit limp, and this applies not only to us, but also to many teams, including those in Europe. We need to work, and only in this way, through practice, will the realization come.

- The next game is against Lazio. How will you approach this game? Despite the fact that we lost points against Rukh, the unbeaten streak continues...

- It's great that the game is in four days. If it was, for example, a week away, you would still subconsciously analyze it and get upset. And here the game is coming soon, the whole of Ukraine will be watching us, I hope many people will come to the stands, we are playing for our country in the European arena. But we had Rukh, then Lazio, and then Left Bank... We'll tune in to Lazio the same way we did to Rukh. It's very interesting, I and the team are looking forward to this match, we will give everything to bring home points.

- Have you already analyzed Lazio?

- We are moving step by step. We prepared for Rukh, and there will be time to see Lazio. The coach will tell us about our further schedule, and we will prepare. But Lazio is a good team, there are no weak teams here. So it will be interesting. We have already played against good teams, raised the bar, the fans expect results from us, so we need to keep it - and this is the minimum task.

- In general, have you watched Lazio's matches on your own, analyzed anything for yourself?

- To be honest, not yet. I hadn't been home for a long time, and when I came back, I hadn't seen my family and children for a long time. So it was a little bit not up to football. (Smiles). I had to pay attention to my family. I think the coaches will tell us everything in detail and show us enough matches. When we played against Albania for the national team, we were opposed by Husay on the right flank, a good defender. That's all I can say.
