"It's a matter of pride, self-awareness, honesty to yourself and the state. Besides, if you don't go when you are called, you automatically become a criminal. How do you live afterwards? By hiding? This option is not for me.
Plus, I've always said that you have to live honestly, in particular, in front of your children. You can tell them a lot, but they will still react primarily to your deeds and actions. And I would be ashamed to look my son in the eye if I limited myself to words. He would simply not take me seriously, because my words would be at odds with my actions," Morales said.
