The search for a new club becomes urgent. While in Ukraine Sydorchuk has long been a member of the national team and was captain of Dynamo, in Europe his reputation is not so high. At the age of 33-34, it will be very difficult to find a team, even at the level of Turkey, Poland, and Cyprus. You need a very serious agent lobby. It's more like a conditional Kazakhstan or Azerbaijan.
It looks very likely that Sydorchuk will return to Ukraine in the near future. He has a name and reputation here that he doesn't have in any other country.
There is no doubt that Sydorchuk is associated with Dynamo Kyiv. He spent more than 10 years of his career in the capital. Now Oleksandr Shovkovskyi has a huge selection of players in the middle of the field. Even in the role of rotation, things are not very simple.
Serhiy's departure from the team in the early fall of 2023 was a turning point in terms of the team's development. You can't be satisfied with yesterday. Volodymyr Brazhko got his chance, as he not only brings quality to the field, but has also become an asset in terms of a possible transfer. Even if Brazhko is sold, we still have Mykola Mykhailenko.
In terms of class and prospects, Sydorchuk can no longer give Dynamo anything. The only thing he has is experience. I don't think the team has any problems with this now, because Vitaliy Buyalsky or Andriy Yarmolenko are also far from being boys in football. Therefore, there is no need for another older player.
That's why I'm more inclined to believe that Sydorchuk will continue to play for another Ukrainian team. The choice is small, but there are options with Polissia, LNZ or, say, the very ambitious Metalist-1925. This is the reality today, because the best years for the former Dynamo captain are over. He just needs to play as long as he can with his head held high.
