Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is disappointed that Riccardo Calafiori has accepted an offer to join Arsenal.
"The whole of Italian football regrets his transfer, not just Juventus. We have to ask ourselves why we didn't have the strength to keep a player of his caliber in Italy. All the big teams took the defender, but not him," Corriere Della Sera quoted Giuntoli as saying.
It will be recalled that the Gunners paid Bologna 42 million euros for Calafiori.
