Nikita Shevchenko- Why did "Alexandria" have such a bright start?
- It's the third year of work under Ruslan Petrovych's leadership and apparently, we already understand his principles better, we have warmed up, understood each other, there is interaction in the game, and most importantly - there is a result. Also in the summer, newcomers came to the team, who quickly joined the team, adapted and became a reinforcement.
- Among the matches you have already played, which one is the most memorable?
- With Shakhtar. Both in terms of emotions and the development of events. To score in a match with the champion is a really remarkable event.
- And why did you fail to score against Obolon - in the only match in which your team lost points?
- I can`t say that we played badly, but we should give credit to the opponent, who after the arrival of a new coach was somewhere on the rise. We fought and eventually made peace.
- Your colleague, Dynamo goalkeeper Georgiy Buschan explained the Eurocup defeat from Lazio (0:3) by the level of our championship. What do you think about the current level of the UPL?
- Perhaps Dynamo players know better, because they play in European cups, but, in my opinion, now the championship is competitive and interesting. There is no clear leader, many teams can take away points. Even teams from the bottom of the standings can surprise. This is the already mentioned "Obolon", and "Veres", and others.
- In domestic soccer often try to look for a third force. Is "Alexandria" ready to challenge the domestic grandees?
- I do not want to throw loud words, because they say that happiness loves silence. Besides, I repeat, now there are enough other teams with ambitions, which are trying to take the highest possible places. We are working hard and setting ourselves up for maximum results, and at the end of the season we'll see what will come out of it. What kind of force we have become.
- You have important matches with Kryvbas and Ruh... Ahead.
- I don`t want to single out anyone separately. And "Kryvbas" and "Rukh", and "Polesie", and LNZ - there are many interesting teams that deserve attention and respect. We are preparing in the usual mode, but there are some nuances that we try to realize in each individual game.
- There is information that your former club Zorya has settled many debts. You also had a dispute with the club, did the Luhansk team settle with you?
- Yes, it is true, many guys said that they received the funds, but I - no...
- The decision of the Dispute Resolution Chamber was not in your favor?
- Why not in my favor? In my favor. "Zorya" has to settle with me - both debts and compensation for contract termination.
- So there is a decision, why is there no settlement?
- There is a decision, and at the same time - no... How can I explain it? The decision was made, a short text was given, Zorya requested the full text, we are waiting for it. The lawyer says that they should have written it in a month or two, but in some cases it can take up to six months. But it's already the second year. I do not understand. In the last winter transfer season the Luhansk players could have been subjected to a transfer ban, and now the summer season has already passed! Such an impression that they were "asked" not to hurry.... Not the Chamber, but lawlessness, seriously.
