Today gave the world several famous people who closely connected their lives with soccer:

Volodymyr Troshkin (1947-2020) was a former soccer player who played in the positions of defender and midfielder. During his career he played for three clubs: Kiev SKA and Dynamo, as well as Dnipropetrovsk Dnipro. Four-time champion and winner of the USSR Cup. Winner of the Cup Winners' Cup and UEFA Super Cup. After his playing career he coached SKA (Kyiv), Avangard (Rivne), worked as an assistant head coach of the Ukrainian Olympic team.

Volodymyr Mazyar (1977) is a former Ukrainian footballer who played as a striker. He was brought up in Lviv soccer. After successful seasons in the lower leagues of the Ukrainian championship he attracted the attention of Dynamo Kyiv selectors. He also played in Poltava "Vorskla", "Dnipro", "Stali". After the end of his playing career he started coaching.

Dick Advocaat (1947) - former Dutch soccer player, and now - soccer coach. He headed the national teams of the Netherlands, UAE, South Korea, Belgium, as well as various clubs. In Advocaat's coaching career there were a number of situations when he led a team for only a few months, after which he left it: with the UAE national team he worked less than 2 months (July - September 2005), Borussia Mönchengladbach was in charge for 5.5 months (November 2004 - April 2005), Belgium national team - 6.5 months (October 2009 - April 2010), South Korea national team - 9 months (October 2005 - July 2006).
