Former Arsenal forward dies of heart attack at 46

Former Arsenal forward Fabian Caballero has passed away at the age of 46, the club's press service reports.

"Everyone at the club is deeply saddened by the news of the sudden death of our former player Fabian Caballero. Our thoughts go out to his family and friends at this time," the statement said.

According to The Scotsman, Caballero suffered a heart attack during a mini-football match in Paraguay. Fabian was taken to the hospital, but doctors were unable to save him.

We would like to remind you that Fabian Caballero defended the colors of several Paraguayan clubs during his career, played for Arsenal in Europe, where he played three matches. He also played for the Scottish club Dundee, the Greek club Panathaiki, and also played in South Korea. In 1998, he reached the semifinals of the Libertadores Cup in Paraguay with Cerro Porteño.
