This weekend there are matches of the 8th round of the Ukrainian championship of the season-2024/25. In one of them on Sunday, September 29, Left Bank and Dynamo Kyiv met. The match was held in Kyiv region at the stadium "Arena Left Bereg".

"With the starting whistle "Left Bank" lined up on its half of the field, and Dynamo started to look for gaps in these defensive redoubts. But already on the 7th minute of the match such a gap was successfully found: on Dynamo's corner kick the hosts unsuccessfully kicked the ball out - directly to Karavaev, he shot into the goalkeeper's box, and there Mikhavko shot the hosts' goal from a meter - 0:1.

This goal did not affect the game. "Left Bank" continued to defend with the whole squad. However, in the 18th minute of the game the ball was again in the hosts' goal - it was Yarmolenko who closed the flank pass of Vivcharenko with a spectacular heel strike. However, the use of VAR revealed offside, and Dynamo's second goal was not counted.

The guests continued to control the ball almost continuously on the Left Bank half of the field, and soon were close to success again: on 25 minutes Brazhko shot from 25 meters, and the ball flew within centimeters of the bar. And three minutes later the first scoring opportunity was already at "Left Bank": the guests intercepted Bragaru's pass to Karavaev in the penalty area of Dynamo, and as a result Sinitsa made a seemingly sharp shot from six meters, but brilliant reaction of Buschan saved the "Bilo-Syni" from conceding a goal.

This moment clearly encouraged Left Bank: the hosts began to control the ball more often and now spent a lot of time in the opponent's half of the field. Nevertheless, Dynamo continued to control the game. However, the score did not change before the break.

The second half started with a hail of chances. First, Guerrero made a spectacular strike from the left side of the Left Bank penalty area - the ball flew in an arc exactly into the far "nine" of the goal, but Mekhaniv saved his team. Then Galas shot with his head from the corner of Dynamo's goalkeeper's area, but directed the ball right into Buschan's hands. And right after that the Bilo-Syni were close to success twice in a row. First, after Bragaru's shot, the ball whistled over the crossbar. And then Bujalski, noticing that Mekhaniv moved too far away from the goal line, tried to throw it over with a shot from 20 meters - the crossbar!

But in the 61st minute of the match the score changed. Mehaniv, playing outside his penalty area, kicked the ball right to Brazhko, the latter shot straight from the center circle, and the ball flew over the goalkeeper of "Left Bank" running to his goal and fell into the stack - 0:2.

Having achieved a comfortable advantage in the score, Dynamo allowed themselves a little bit of momentum. But Left Bank could not get much out of it. In any case, during the remaining time of the match not a single dangerous moment appeared at the gates of Dynamo. Well, and the Bilo-Syni brought the score to a big one in the compensated time of the second half - it was Rubchinskiy who reacted well in the penalty area of "Left Bank" on the ball rebound and hit the target with a shot from 10 meters - 0:3.

In the next round Dynamo will have a home match with Kryvyi Rih Kryvbas. This meeting will take place next Sunday, October 6, in Kyiv at the Dynamo stadium named after Valeriy Lobanovskiy (kick-off - at 18:00). And before that, on Thursday, October 3, Dynamo will play the match of the 2nd round of the main stage of the Europa League with German Hoffenheim.
