Carragher: "It is too early for Salah to go to Saudi Arabia"

Former Liverpool defender and current football expert Jamie Carragher believes that it is too early for Reds striker Mohamed Salah to move to Saudi Arabia.

"I don't think he's considering Saudi Arabia. Mo is too good for that. He plays in the best league in the world, for one of the biggest clubs in the world. I think Mo, like Ronaldo, is obsessed with records. We all believe that by the age of 35, players exhaust their energy. But judging by the way this guy takes care of himself, I think he plans to play until he's 40," the Liverpool Echo quoted Carragher as saying.

It will be recalled that the Egyptian forward's current contract with the Merseyside club runs until the summer of 2025. Earlier it was reported that Saudi Arabian clubs are interested in the 32-year-old striker.
