Oleh Dulub, the former head coach of Cherkasy's LNZ, told us what he thinks of the football played by Shakhtar Donetsk under the leadership of the team's current coach, Marino Pushic.
- What do I think of Pushic's football? It's like comparing Guardiola's Manchester City and Klopp's Liverpool. I have more of a heart for Klopp's Liverpool, where there was speed and aggression. Previously, Shakhtar used to be aggressive, attacking and able to create chances when they were given only a meter of space.
And now Shakhtar reminds me of a futsal team: there are no high-speed attacks, everything is built through control. And if you don't vary the tactics, then there comes a phase of stagnation, where the result is brought only by the skill of individual players, such as Bondarenko. This is not the best period for Shakhtar," Ukrainian Football quoted Dulub as saying .
