"Of course, the Champions League is an incredible tournament, a competition of a different level, in a good way. We did not manage to please our fans with a victory, but I am sure that we will be able to do it more than once in the near future.

It was a rather difficult and tense match. I can assure you that we gave our all on the field, including me. The course of events was quite difficult for us, but I think we as a team managed to react well to these events. However, the implementation was a bit of a letdown. The problem is not in conceding three goals or more or less, but in how aggressive we were. I think we lacked a little bit of aggression in the final stages. However, given the way we played the match in general, I am satisfied with the team's actions.

A very important aspect is to continue working hard. As I have already emphasized, the match was excellent on our part - in terms of implementing the coach's ideas and the plans of our team. I am sure that we demonstrated on the pitch today what the head coach wanted to see, and we will work to improve the quality of the implementation of our ideas on the pitch," Shakhtar's official website quoted Gram as saying.
