Czech national team announces squad for second match against Ukraine in the Nations League

Czech national team head coach Ivan Hasek has announced the names of the players who will prepare for the October Nations League matches against Albania and Ukraine.

The Czech coach Ivan Hasek is counting on 24 players whom he has called up for a training camp ahead of the next matches of the Nations League.

The composition of the Czech national team

Goalkeepers: Matej Kovář (Bayer Leverkusen, Germany), Antonín Kinský (Slavia), Martin Jedlicka (Victoria).

Defenders: Ladislav Krejci (Girona, Spain), Vladimir Tsoufal (West Ham, England), David Zima, Tomas Holes (both - Slavia), Matej Rines, Martin Vitik, Yaroslav Zeleny (all - Sparta).

Midfielders: Vaclav Černý (Rangers, Scotland), Tomáš Souček (West Ham, England), Alex Kral (Espanyol, Spain), Lukáš Červ, Lukáš Kalváč, Pavel Šultz (all - Viktoria), Ondrej Lingr, Lukáš Provod (both - Slavia).

Forwards: Tomas Cvancsara (Borussia D, Germany), Adam Glozek (Hoffenheim, Germany), Jan Kuhta (Midtjylland, Denmark), Thomas Horiy (Slavia), Vasil Kushey (Mladá Boleslav), Jan Kliment (Sigma).

It is worth noting that Ivan Hasek invited two goalkeepers to the national team for the first time - Antonin Kinsky from Slavia and Martin Jedlicka from Victoria. Also, after seven years of absence, forward Jan Kliment from Sigma returned to the national team.

Instead, defender Robin Granach of Hoffenheim, who needs to adapt to the new club, and forward Patrick Schick of Bayer Leverkusen, who is recovering from an injury, are absent.

It will be recalled that the match of the 4th round of the League of Nations between the national teams of Ukraine and the Czech Republic will take place on October 14 in Wroclaw. The match starts at 21:45.
