On Saturday, October 5, Dynamo U-19 played a match of the 9th round of the Ukrainian Youth Championship. Ihor Kostiuk's wards met with Kryvbas from Kryvyi Rih. It was a home match for our team, it took place on the field of the NTB Dynamo in Koncha Zaspa.

It should be noted that after eight rounds, Dynamo scored 22 points and were in first place in the standings, while Kryvbas gained 9 points and was in 10th place. It is worth noting that the teams had to play in cloudy weather, with occasional rain.
As always, Dynamo started the match actively and took possession of the ball, moving the game to the other team's goal. But the guests did not miss any opportunity to launch a counterattack. Once, our goalkeeper Surkis had to save his team by making a good save when the wet and slippery pitch played a cruel joke on Peikrishvili. But mostly, dangerous moments arose at the opposite goal. However, Redushko's flank shots, Salenko's and Gerich's chances missed their target.
Closer to the middle of the half, the ball did find its way into Kryvbas' goal: after Redushko's shot, Kremchanin managed to push the ball into the net on the second attempt, but due to a violation of the rules in the attack against goalkeeper Omelchenko, the goal was not scored. But in the 23rd minute, Kremchanin was able to score according to the rules: Redushko made a cross from the corner, Dmytro jumped above everyone else and put his team ahead with a well-aimed header - 1-0.
After that, Kryvyi Rih made several sharp attacks to get back into the game, but their efforts were in vain - Surkis and our team's defense acted reliably and unmistakably. We should note a good low shot by Kremchanin, but it was a little inaccurate. And in the time compensated for in the first half, Salenko won the fight, Osipenko approached the penalty area with the ball and doubled the score with a weak shot - 2: 0. With that, the teams went to the break.
In the second half, the situation on the field hardly changed. Dynamo continued to take the initiative and regularly created tension at the other team's goal. Gerich managed a great shot, but the ball flew just past the goal. Salenko struck a powerful shot, but it went over the crossbar. What his partners failed to do, Osypenko was able to do, who picked up the ball, beat several opponents at once, approached the goal and struck another weak shot into the far corner, making it 3-0.
As soon as Ponomarenko came on the field, he marked his presence on the field with a dangerous shot on goal, thus thanking the fans who were chanting his name. When it seemed that the pace of the game had slowed down a bit, Kyiv launched a sharp attack. during which it was hot in the Kryvbas penalty area again. Osypenko passed to Andriyko, who shot into the center, after a scramble the ball fell to Korobov, but after his shot into the far corner, the visitors' defender Kornienko knocked the ball out of the goal line, saving his team.
In the time remaining before the final whistle, we note Kremchanin's attempt to make a double, but the shot went wide of the goal. And a great moment to score for Bilyi, who beat the defender with a spectacular feint, but his ball after his shot was taken by the crossbar! And in the third compensated minute, Ponomarenko marked his return to the field with a goal, who completed the attack with the participation of Korobov, Bilyi and Osypenko, scoring a well-aimed shot from the left corner of the goalkeeper's area to set the final score of the match - 4: 0.
It should be noted that Dynamo U-19 will play its next match in the youth championship after a pause due to national team matches. On Friday, October 18, Ihor Kostiuk's wards will play away to Obolon from Kyiv.
