- Mr. Yuriy, you have two full days to prepare for the Euro 2025 qualifiers. Is it not enough?
- Yes, it is. However, the main thing is that in the situation in which Ukraine is now, it is good that we are playing at all, for which many thanks to the Armed Forces. I believe that the guys understand the importance of the situation, the status of the tournament and will treat these competitions with full responsibility. It cannot be otherwise.
- Did you manage to get all the strongest performers at your disposal?
- You can say yes. Almost everyone who was under control went to Belgium.
- Do you have a lot of information about your opponents?
- We have studied the national teams of Kosovo and Kazakhstan quite well. We have also analyzed Belgium, but we will meet the hosts in the last round, so we can watch them at the tournament. It is important that our players do not forget about their strength and their game.
- Is Belgium the clear favorite of the tournament?
- I think so. When determining a favorite on paper, we always talk about a team as a representative of a football country. Belgium is a football country. They have a good championship with quality players, they have strong teams at all levels.
- Should we not talk about the tasks of the Ukrainian national team?
- Naturally, we will try to win every match, but our main goal is to reach the next round of the European Championship qualifiers. Once again, Belgium is the favorite, but we have our own plans.
