Famous journalist Andrei Shakhov reacted to the death of legendary Dutch footballer Johan Neskens.
"Another legend of world soccer.... Great Dutch national team, the progenitors of total soccer. Bright memory...", - wrote Shakhov in the telegram channel "Shah and Shah".
Recall, Neskens found world fame thanks to his performances for Ajax, Barcelona and the Dutch national team. He was called "the second best footballer in the history of the national team after Cruyff".
On Monday, October 7, the Royal Netherlands Football Association announced the death of Neskens.
