"Juventus have announced that center back Gleison Bremer underwent successful knee surgery on Tuesday.
"This morning, Gleison Bremer underwent surgery to reconstruct the anterior cruciate ligament of his left knee. The operation, which was performed at a hospital in Lyon by Dr. Sonneri-Cottet in the presence of Juventus Medical Director Dr. Luca Stefanini, was deemed successful," Juventus said in a statement.
The Brazilian defender suffered an ACL injury in his left knee last week, in the first minutes of the Champions League game against RB Leipzig. "Juventus has not officially announced the player's recovery time, but several sources in Italy claim that Bremer will be forced to miss at least six months.
