On Tuesday, October 8, our team took a flight from Chisinau to London to Albion, and from the capital went to the place of deployment - the city of Bournemouth. The head coach of the blue and yellows Unai Melgosa called 24 players to the team's location, but at the last moment there were changes in the squad: instead of Rukh defender Roman Didyk, who was diagnosed with a concussion, Polissya midfielder Borys Krushynskyi.

The UK greeted our delegation with windy and rainy weather, but the targeted preparations for the European Youth Championship qualifier have begun. The match between England and Ukraine will take place in Bournemouth at the Dean Court Stadium on October 11. The game starts at 21:45 Kyiv time.

It should be added that on October 15, the match between Serbia and Ukraine will take place in Stara Pazova at the FSS Sports Center. The game starts at 21:30 Kyiv time.

It will be recalled that the blue and yellows have won eight matches and qualified for the final tournament. Along with Ukraine, the Netherlands and Spain currently have licenses to participate in the forum, which will take place from June 11 to 28, 2025, in addition to the host, Slovakia. Nine more participants will be determined based on the results of the October group stage matches, and three - in the playoffs on November 11-19. The formation of the knockout stage pairs is scheduled for October 17. The draw for the final tournament with the participation of 16 national teams (four groups of four teams) will take place on December 3 in Bratislava.
