Ukraine's U-17 youth team (players not older than 2008) will play against teams from Kosovo, Kazakhstan and Belgium.
On October 5, the Ukrainian youth team arrived in Belgium, where the Euro 2025 (U-17) qualifying tournament will take place from October 9 to 15. There, Yuriy Moroz's wards will play against the hosts of the competition, as well as against the national teams of Kosovo and Kazakhstan. To qualify for the next round of selection, the quartet must rank no lower than second.
"We have studied the national teams of Kosovo and Kazakhstan well. We have also analyzed Belgium, but we will meet the hosts in the last round, so we can watch them at the tournament. It is important that our players do not forget about their strength and their game. Naturally, we will try to win every match, but our main goal is to reach the next round of the European Championship qualifiers. I will say once again that Belgium is the favorite, but we have our own plans," said Yuriy Moroz, head coach of the U-17 national team of Ukraine, the day before.
