Euro 2025 U-17: Ukraine's national team starts in the first qualifying round

Today, the U-17 youth national team of Ukraine (players not older than 2008) started in the first qualifying round of Euro 2025.

Yuriy Moroz's team is playing in Group 4 alongside Belgium, Kosovo and Kazakhstan. Today they met with the team of Kosovo in Genk, Belgium.

The start of the match was clearly not in favor of the Ukrainians. In the 4th minute Rin Akhmeti put his team ahead, and eight minutes later Lirjon Abdullahu doubled the advantage of the opponents.

Despite such a blow, our guys did not lose heart, and in the 16th minute Yaroslav Milokost passed to Dmytro Zudin, and he forced the opposing keeper to capitulate. And in nine minutes the blue and yellows were already ahead. First, the same Zudin assisted Pavel Lyusin, who equalized, and then Zudin himself brought the national team of Ukraine forward - 3: 2.

In the second half, Yuriy Moroz's men continued to take the initiative, and in the 62nd minute, Pavlo Lyusin, following Dmytro Zudin, scored a double, setting the final result of the match - 4: 2 in favor of the Ukrainians.

The Ukrainian national team will play its next match in the Euro 2025 U-17 qualifiers on October 12 against Kazakhstan.
