The former head coach of Dynamo Kyiv and the Ukrainian national team, Jozsef Szabo, explained why Ukrainian midfielder Mykhailo Mudryk of Chelsea London does not play for his club.
"Mudryk has fantastic speed, that's why they bought him. You have to understand that our championship is inferior to the European ones. When Mudryk was going at a player in the UPL, he could safely throw the ball forward, because no one was behind him to cover his opponent. In England, however, it is much more difficult to do this, because they play tightly and insure each other.
Mykhailo doesn't dribble in the sense that the ball is glued to his foot. Chelsea taught him a lot, so now he moves to the center and is able to act more interestingly. Years passed and they saw that Mudryk was an average player. It is also difficult to sell him, because they bought him for a lot of money.
And Mykhailo was not taught how to defend. This is the problem with our players. Our offensive players only want to score and move forward, forgetting about defense," LB.ua quoted Sabo as saying.
Но это бьет по всем украинским игрокам и их перспективе в топ чемпионатах.
Провал Мудрика ударил и по Судакову, и по Шапаренко. И аукнется Бражко наверняка.
Ну и плохая форма Мудрика негативно отражается на игре сборной.
Поэтому мне жаль, что у Мудрика в АПЛ не складывается. А виновато прежде всего руководство кротов, заломившее несусветную цену. В клубе поскромнее Мудрик мог бы развиваться, как Забарный например. А в Челси от игрока ценой в 70 лямов ждут немедленного эффекта.
Арсенал был отличным вариантом - рядом Зинченко,что немаловажно, стиль игры пушкарей,где вместе с Зинченко гораздо быстрее вошёл бы в игру. Вообщем промах для самого игрока,для сборной.Для всех,кроме кармана Ахметова.
Все решал Ахметов.
Но я не уверен, что он бы в Арсенале выиграл конкуренцию на левом фланге.
