The famous Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal has decided to retire from professional sports. Real Madrid, of which Nadal is a fan, commented on the athlete's statement.
"All Madrid residents will always be proud to have a legend like Rafael Nadal representing our club as an honorary member of Real Madrid. Nadal's legendary career has always been based on talent, resilience, self-improvement, humility, solidarity and respect.
We would like to express our gratitude to him for his madridist spirit and for spreading the values of our club in all corners of the world. We wish Nadal and his family all the best in this new phase of their lives," the Real Madrid press service said in a statement.
