The Albanian Football Federation has announced that it will file an official complaint with UEFA following the results of the away match of the 3rd round of the Nations League against the Czech Republic (0:2), which took place last Friday in Prague.
During the game, upside-down Albanian flags were displayed in the stadium stands, as well as a banner with the slogan "Kosovo is Serbia", which was also chanted by Czech fans.
"The Football Federation of Albania strongly condemns the shameful actions that took place during the match against the Czech Republic. The racist shouting and desecration of the Albanian flag is unacceptable and has nothing to do with soccer.
The Albanian Football Federation strongly condemns any form of racism and insult to national symbols and will send a protest note to UEFA demanding immediate disciplinary action," the Albanian Football Federation said in a statement.
