Popular magazine FourFourTwo has compiled an unusual rating, including footballers whose careers have included hat-tricks in lost matches.

The ninth in this list mentioned the former striker of Dynamo Kyiv and the USSR national team Igor Belanov. He made a hat-trick in the match 1/8 finals of the 1986 World Cup with Belgium, but in the end the USSR national team lost (in extra time) - 3:4.
