Head coach of the national team of Georgia Willi Sagnol commented on the defeat of his team from Albania (0:1) in yesterday's home match of the 4th round of the Nations League.
"We played with new tactics. With a lot of attacking players who can be effective in limited space. We went for it because we knew that Albania will defend with big forces and will not leave us space.
In general, the team realized this tactic, but we lacked the last movement, the last pass or shot. If we had used at least 10-15 percent of our chances, we would have won.
We had to change our tactics partly because of Kochorashvili's disqualification. At the moment we don't have a second player in Georgia who will play at the same level as Kochorashvili in this position. However, it does not mean that we cannot play soccer in his absence.
Giorgi Mikautadze's lack of game practice in the club has become much more painful. He lacks confidence. We try to give him a lack of playing time, confidence, because he has done a lot for the team.
