Former Dynamo Kyiv coach Mircea Lucescu has successfully started his work as the head coach of the Romanian national team. Under the leadership of the 79-year-old specialist, the "tricolors" are still going without losses.
Yesterday, the Romanian team defeated Lithuania (2:1) in the next round of the Nations League, and this victory was the fourth in a row for Lucescu's wards. Before that, Romania won the Nations League against Kosovo (3-0), Lithuania (3-1) and Cyprus (3-0).
Thus, in the first four matches under Lucescu, the Romanian national team won four games with a total goal difference of 11:2.
In the Nations League, Romania plays in Group 2 of Division C and is now the sole leader:
