Petrakov's salary in the Armenian national team was 20 thousand euros per month

Journalist Suren Meliksetyan reported how much Alexander Petrakov earned when he was head of the Armenian national team.

"Since the appointment of Alexander Petrakov as head coach of the Armenian national team, the amount of his salary has been constantly speculated in the media. It was mentioned that he receives 600 thousand euros a year, and recently I also came across unfounded information that his salary is about 2 million euros.

Let me say that these figures are not only unrealistic, but also far from reality. I knew the real figures from the very beginning, I just didn't consider it necessary to talk about them for ethical reasons. Now that Petrakov has completed his work with the Armenian national team, I can safely say that his monthly salary was about 20 thousand euros, which, by the way, is less than some Armenian coaches who worked for the Armenian national team," Meliksetyan wrote on his Telegram channel.
