Paralympian and veteran of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yevhen Korinets spoke out sharply about the traitor of Ukraine, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, who remained in Russia after the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine and did not condemn the aggression of the Russian Federation.
NV journalist Andriy Pavlechko asked Yevhen Korinets, who in February 2022 joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine without hesitation and served as a combat medic, about Tymoshchuk's "patriotism."
"Tymoshchuk is a f**k. A person who sold out for money, I don't know, maybe he didn't have any patriotism before. Look, we can see, for example, that he was a sincere Ukrainian, he wore an embroidered shirt on every holiday, a patriot. But do you know where he was a patriot? In social media, and that's it...
He [Tymoshchuk] is the same thief as those who came to our country, so the fact that he once painted flags on his cheeks and played in the national team does not mean that he is a Ukrainian. A Ukrainian is not someone who wears an embroidered shirt, but someone who abides by the current laws and does everything to ensure that his country wins," Korinets said.
It should be noted that in March 2023, Yevhen was injured in the Bakhmut sector and lost his leg. At the 2024 Paralympics, the veteran played for the Ukrainian national sitting volleyball team.
