Manchester City defender Kyle Walker commented on the appointment of Thomas Tuchel as head coach of the England national team.
"I can understand the English public believing that the national team should be led by an English coach. But for me, there should be someone who will achieve results. Tuchel proved in big clubs that he can manage big players with a difficult character, such as PSG. Then he went to Chelsea and won the Champions League, defeating Manchester City in the final. So, as you can imagine, he is firmly in my memory.
It's a great appointment and it will be an even better appointment if he puts me back in the team!" Walker told the BBC.
