Former Netherlands midfielder Kevin Strootman has announced the end of his playing career.
In July, the midfielder's contract with Genoa expired, after which he was unable to find a new job. Last season, the 34-year-old played 27 matches for the Griffins.
Strootman is known for his performances for Roma, PSV and Marseille.
