Bohdan Tymovchak, Director of the FC Rukh Media Center, commented on the situation with the passes for the Rukh vs.
- On October 18, a number of media outlets spread false information about the alleged "provision of 10 passes or tickets to Karpaty". Let me be clear: this information is completely untrue. In fact, as of now, FC Karpaty has not received a single ticket or pass for the match, because the administration of the guest club in this match has not addressed our club with a corresponding official letter.
If such a letter is received, we will, of course, consider it and respond to this request as best we can. Instead, we would like to inform the public that FC Rukh, regardless of whether or not we receive a letter from our colleagues, will independently provide the guest club with a sky box for 12 people in the VIP stand for the club's management, accreditation for the media and marketing departments of Karpaty, as well as more than 30 special invitations for the club's veterans. This is a direct expression of our respect for the Karpaty club and the people who made the history of Lviv football.
Regarding ticket sales and questions that football fans have, I remind you that there are currently restrictions in place, so the priority right to attend the match was given to fans of Rukh Lviv, as it is our club's home game at our home Arena. We do not hide the fact that we care about our supporters first and foremost. There is a limited number of seats and strict adherence to security protocols, and that is why FC Rukh has long implemented and operates the Priority Access ticketing system. Therefore, the fans who are part of this system received a notification about the start of ticket sales for the Rukh vs Karpaty match and were among the first to purchase passes to the match.
At the same time, I would like to urge people to be careful and avoid buying tickets by hand or on unofficial resources. Such tickets are canceled and invalid. And their owners will not be allowed to enter the stadium by law enforcement and regulatory authorities," said Tymovchak.
