Lazio President Claudio Lotito explained why head coach Igor Tudor was fired after the end of the 2023/24 season.
"The team responded well to Tudor's arrival. However, at the end of the season, he said that we had to make some drastic changes, including selling some players who were causing problems. We realized it was time to remove someone who felt like he owned the club. Now we have a coach who speaks the same language and wants to prove his worth," Lotito told DAZN.
It should be added that in the summer of 2024, the Eagles will be led by the former Verona coach Marco Baroni.
