Vadym Hutzeit, President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, praised the performance of the Ukrainian national team at the Games in France.
- "Our players' entry into the 2024 Olympic Games is already a great achievement. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian national football team did not perform very well in Paris (it won and, after suffering two defeats, took third place in the group and did not advance - ed.) Let me remind you that our last medal in the games at the Olympics was in handball, back in 2004. And the last time our players participated in winter sports was at the 2002 Olympic Games. It was the ice hockey team," Gutzeit said.
