The head coach of Zhytomyr's Polissya Imad Ashour told the details of his player Oleksiy Hutsulyak's injury.
- "Oleksiy didn't lose consciousness, he was a little disoriented, which meant that he probably had a concussion. Well, it was obvious. Perhaps, we were even worried about the jaw bones being intact in the first place, and only later, after we received further information, we added the lip split.
He did not lose consciousness. At some point, we also received a photo of him sitting in the ambulance. That is, it was also very gratifying that he did not have any obvious signs on his face that he was in any kind of severe discomfort or incredible pain. Well, sitting up is also very good. And in the end, after the examinations done by the national team, after a computed tomography scan, they found that all the bones of the jaw were intact, and they found that, of course, there was a concussion, but not so significant. That is, there is no brain damage, everything is fine.
Oleksiy arrived for an additional examination, which the club promptly arranged while he was abroad. Now, soon, he will undergo this examination, return to us, and then, I think, we will be more specific about the preliminary terms. I hope it will not be more than two weeks. If there is an opportunity, if we realize that we can do it earlier, then it will be great, of course," Ashour told the club's press service.
