Former Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleksandr Aliyev spoke about his return to football, or rather his arrival at the PROFAN Medialiga club, whose next game is against Artem Milevsky's Ignis.
- Alexander, tell us how you became a player of the PROFAN Medialiga club?
- I've been talking to the guys from PROFAN for a long time, I was at their match against Rukh Media. They offered me to play for them, and I agreed. As long as I have free minutes, why not? I like the Medialiga. I'm all for promoting it.
- Do any famous footballers play in PROFAN besides you?
- It's not about that, a lot of bloggers play there. But the most important thing is that media football is developing in our country. A good example is Rukh Media. Professional football is slowly dying in Ukraine, while the Media League is gaining momentum.
- What uniform are you wearing now?
- On Wednesday, I'll put on a PROFAN uniform and see how it will look on me (laughs).
- Have you still got your signature shot?
- I didn't come here to show how I used to play. I came here to develop the Medialiga and to make it at the highest level.
- Did you see how Selezniov recently beat Aliyev, scoring from a distance from the penalty spot?
- I saw it on video. Well done to him. Once a year, the stick fires. It shot at Selye as well (Laughs).
- This is probably fate, because PROFAN will play its first match with your participation against Ignis, where Milevsky plays. Will you shake hands with Artem before the match?
- If we go out on the field together and the teams greet each other, then, of course, I will shake hands. I'm not some kind of scum. I always treat everyone on the football field like a human being. And beyond the football field is our personal life.
- If Milevsky apologizes to you, will you forgive him?
- Time will tell. The whole country wants us to make peace. Perhaps they organized this match on purpose so that I could play for PROFAN.
