The FFU Referees Committee appointed the officiating team for the central match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship between Kyiv’s «Dynamo» and Donetsk’s «Shakhtar», which will take place this coming Sunday, October 27, in the capital at the «Dynamo» stadium named after Valery Lobanovsky (start at 18:00).
Nikolai BalakinThe referee on the field is Nikolai Balakin from the Kyiv region. Interestingly, he recently officiated a match involving «Dynamo» — against «Kryvbas» (2:1), and prior to that, he had not been involved in any matches of the «white-blues» for two whole years.
The assistant referees for the match «Obolon» — «Dynamo» will be Dmitry Zaporozhenko (Zaporizhzhia) and Alexander Berkut (Sumy). The fourth official is Maxim Kozyryatsky (Zaporizhzhia).
Additionally, the upcoming match will feature the VAR system — under the supervision of Denis Shurman from the Kyiv region.
