After three consecutive losses and an unsuccessful start to the new season of the Ukrainian championship (12th place), Poltava\'s "Vorskla" decided to make changes in the coaching staff.
As it became known to Sport.ua, Serhiy Dolhansky, who has faced criticism from the club\'s management regarding not only the team\'s results but also the atmosphere within the group, has been decided to be replaced by another coach.
According to available information, a few days ago, former head coach of the Poltava team Yuriy Maksymov arrived in Poltava, with whom negotiations have been successfully conducted, and already for the upcoming match against "Veres" (October 27), "Vorskla" will go with a new-old head coach who previously led the Poltava team from 2019 to 2022 and had 70 matches with Poltava in the UPL. It is expected that Maksymov will be introduced to the team very soon.
The last club of the 55-year-old specialist was "Dnipro-1".
