Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has received recognition in his homeland.
The Senegal Football Federation has named Jackson the best player of the past season. Nicolas received 203 votes, ahead of Kalidou Koulibaly from Al-Hilal (167 votes) and Sheriff Ndiaye from Crvena Zvezda, who came in third with 47 votes.
Last season, Jackson scored 17 goals and provided six assists in 44 matches across all competitions. In the current season, the Senegalese forward has already netted 5 goals and made 3 assists in 8 Premier League matches.
