Today’s date brought several well-known people into the world, who closely linked their lives with football:

Oleg Salenko

Nazar Rysin (1998) — a Ukrainian footballer, former striker of Kyiv’s “Dynamo”. A graduate of the football club “Lviv”, for which he played in the Youth Football League from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, he moved to “Dynamo”. He played on loan for “Legia”, “Zorya”. Currently a player of English “Sunderland”.

Stanislav Bohush (1983) — a former Ukrainian goalkeeper who played for Poltava’s “Vorskla”, “Arsenal”, “Dynamo”, and Zaporizhzhia’s “Metallurg”. In his first season with the “white-blue”, Stanislav quickly became the main goalkeeper for Kyiv, displacing the permanent 1st number of the capital giant Oleksandr Shovkovskyi to the bench. However, in the following season, Bohush found himself on the substitutes' bench. He underwent several surgeries and did not play for the first team of “Dynamo” for over two years. In the national team of Ukraine, Bohush played 2 matches, conceded 1 goal.

Oleg Salenko (1969) — a former Ukrainian footballer who played as a forward. In his time, Salenko represented the colors of St. Petersburg “Zenit”, Kyiv “Dynamo”, Spanish teams “Logroñés”, “Valencia”, and “Córdoba”, Scottish “Rangers”, Turkish “İstanbulspor”, as well as Polish “Pogoń”. Top scorer of the 1994 FIFA World Cup. Holder of the record for the most goals scored in a single World Cup match — 5.
