The head coach of Kryviy Rih’s “Kryvbas” Yuriy Vernidub commented on the victory over Cherkasy’s LNZ (3:1) in yesterday’s match of the 11th round of the Ukrainian championship, noting the progress in his team’s play.
“It was a very nice game, intense. The guys played with desire, both teams did. This victory allows us to move forward. I am very happy for our footballers. I wish for them to approach every game with the same desire, dedication, and discipline. Then everything will be fine.
If we take the recent matches, against ‘Vorskla’, ‘Dynamo’, ‘Oleksandriya’, I enjoyed them, even despite the result. It’s pleasing that we have started scoring and creating even more goal-scoring chances. The guys heard me and began to play better defensively. We will see how it goes from here, ahead are interesting matches. ‘Polissya’, ‘Rukh’, ‘Kolos’. The last ones have even taken points from ‘Polissya’, and based on the play, they deserved to win even more,” said Vernidub.
