It should be noted that after 10 rounds, both Dynamo and "miners" gained the same number of points — 28. Based on additional indicators, the Kyiv team was placed first in the standings, while "Shakhtar" was second. Thus, the match was principled and promised intrigue.

The game, indeed, was not easy for our team. The Dynamo players, as always, started the match actively and took control of the ball, so it was no surprise that they created the first dangerous moment near the opponent’s goal. Shakhtar's goalkeeper Baglai made a mistake, but Ponomarenko, who intercepted the ball, could not hit the target. Immediately, Ponomarenko found himself in a striking position again, but he was prevented from making an accurate shot by a defender who blocked his attempt. Later, Diky tried from afar — it went past the goal, and Osipenko tried from outside the penalty area, but the ball went over the bar.

Here came "Shakhtar," which at the beginning of the match took a waiting position, activated, and conducted several potentially dangerous attacks, but the Dynamo players skillfully neutralized them still near the approaches to the penalty area. It should be noted that there was a lot of fighting and clashes on the field. The referee often had to stop the game and show yellow cards or award free kicks.

At the end of the first half of the encounter, the game also took place in the midfield; neither team created any real goal-scoring chances and throughout the half did not make a single shot on target. There were only three shots toward the goal — all accounted for by the Dynamo players. It could have gotten hot in the Kyiv penalty area after a free kick earned by the guests on the left flank, but the delivery was very inaccurate — the ball flew out of play. Thus, the teams went into the break without any goals scored.

The second half started with an unpleasant turn for the Dynamo players. "Shakhtar" conducted a swift attack, Drozd took a shot from the edge of the penalty area — Surkis managed to deflect the ball, but Tsukanov was the first to respond to the rebound and sent the ball into the net — 0:1. The Dynamo players responded with two consecutive corner kicks — first with a shot by Osipenko that Baglai coped with, and later Salenko from a favorable position directed the ball over the goal. Later, our team also threatened the "miners'" goal after set pieces, but the opponents successfully defended. Once Redushko found himself in a striking position, but hit the opponent instead.

In the second half of the half, Baglai collected the ball after a cross into the penalty area. We should also mention Andreiko's free kick — the ball again found itself with the Donetsk goalkeeper. It was evident that the guests were trying to hold on to the result that suited them. Andreiko attempted to break through three opponents with the ball and fell in the opponent's penalty area after colliding with two others, but the referee did not award a penalty. IShchenko had a good opportunity to level the score, taking a shot from the edge of the penalty area, but Baglai made an impressive save, getting the ball from under the crossbar and deflecting it for a corner.

Already in stoppage time, it was hot in the Kyiv penalty area after a free kick from about 23 meters executed by Drozd — Surkis managed to react in a jump and deflected the ball, but first on the rebound again was Shakhtar's player Petruk, and only the crossbar saved our team from conceding a second goal! Meanwhile, at the opposite goal, Osipenko wanted to direct the sphere into the corner of the net, but Baglai managed to grab the ball on the second attempt.

Thus, in the end, 0:1 — Dynamo lost minimally to "Shakhtar U-19" and lost the first position in the standings, dropping to second.

It should be noted that their next match in the youth championship "Dynamo U-19" will take place on Saturday, November 2. Igor Kostyuk's team will meet "Inhulets" from Petrove.
